Position Summary: Microbial Discovery Group is seeking a self-driven, goal-oriented administrative professional to support production operations for all market segments. Responsibilities:
Order Processing & Customer Support
Work with customer service & production staff as a backup for entering new orders into Salesforce, Dynamics GP and Production Control data base
Manage raw material, packaging, culture and finished product inventory
Maintain inventory records of finished goods, culture, packaging, and raw material
Provide backup support for shipping
Identifying inventory lots for order fulfillment and document in production control/inventory data base
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Computer skills desired (Salesforce, Word, Outlook, Excel)
Able to read, understand, and document completed formulation sheets
High attention to detail
Strong sense of organization
Knows how or is willing to learn how to use a fork truck
Willing to work overtime as needed
Willing to address inventory/product related issues directly with people as they arise
Able to create and maintain spreadsheets/production records
Easily able to reprioritize tasks
Can complete tasks while frequently be interrupted
Willing to take on special projects and other duties as assigned
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Majority of work is conducted in a climate controlled office
Work may include occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs.)
May be exposed to airborne particles and chemicals used in fermentation production facilities

Adherence to all company safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
